If you are a regular traveler going between Multan and Lahore, there’s some good news for you. Daewoo Express has launched a special non-stop bus service for this route which not only travels faster but also provides a comfortable journey at a very reasonable price.
The new bus service takes only 3 hours and 30 minutes on its journey from Lahore to Multan and vice versa.
Traveling via motorway on this route may take at least 4 hours if you go by private transport – but this non-stop service takes way less than that. This is probably the fastest you can go from Lahore to Multan via road on a bus.
The service costs as low as Rs. 700 per passenger which is also very reasonable for a 345-kilometer journey.
The service which begins from April 1st may prove to be too tough to beat for Daewoo’s competitors.
The thing passengers should keep in mind is that they should make sure to get on-board with an empty bladder because the next three-and-a-half hour, there would be no stopover.
It would be interesting to see if this service wins Daewoo its lost customer base.
