Pakistan’s premium all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has rejoined the national team after recovering from a hand injury he picked up during the Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) fourth edition.
The former Pakistan captain has been identified as one of the most important players ahead of the World Cup. In a recent interview, it was unveiled that Hafeez will play an anchor role for the team in the mega-event.
However, his hand injury, which he picked up the thumb injury against Karachi Kings. His injury not only ruled him out for the remainder of the tournament but also required two back-to-back surgeries.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sent Hafeez to England for rehabilitation and today, the all-rounder joined the Pakistan team for the practice session ahead of the series against England.
Mohammad Hafeez also bowled a number of deliveries and claimed that he felt no pain, which is a positive sign for Pakistan cricket team as his experience is vital for the upcoming World Cup.
