The State Bank of Pakistan has announced that it will start bookings for new currency notes from May 20th.
The bookings will be done via SMS and will close on the 31st of this month.
The latest update came on Monday in which the central bank announced the per capita quota of new notes. As per SBP announcement, each consumer will be allowed to take three bundles of Rs. 10, and one bundle each of Rs. 50 and Rs. 100 notes.

The texting service will start from May 19th and people can register via SMS before visiting the designated branches to avail the new currency notes.
Consumers can send their “CNIC + e-branch code” to 8877 to register themselves. E-branches are available on the websites of private banks and SBP.
The top bank further stated that it will not entertain multiple requests from one mobile number.
