Wateen Telecom has announced the appointment of Mr. Shoaib Ashfaq Qureshi as the company’s Vice President – Carrier, Wholesale and Intentional Business.
The development came following the announcement of the new CEO, who was appointed just last month.
A notification by the company said that Mr. Shoaib joined Wateen from PCCW Global/HK Telecom and has been working in the telecom sector for nearly 20 years.
Shoaib is said to be a sales enthusiast, bringing along vast experience in managing sales of data, voice, mobility, MPLS sales, satellite connectivity, cloud, IOT, LDI and digital products.
In this new role, Mr. Shoaib will be responsible for driving the Carrier, Wholesale and International Business, including LDI, for Wateen telecom.
