England & Pakistan Look Forward to a High Scoring Game in 4th ODI

After dismal bowling performances in the ODI series, captain Sarfaraz Ahmed will be hoping for a better return from his bowlers today as Pakistan take on England.

Trent Bridge is all set to host the 4th ODI with England leading the series 2-0. The venue has a knack of producing some very high-scoring contests and today will be no different. If Pakistani bowlers continue to bowl the way they have been doing this series, there will be plenty of questions for Sarfaraz and team management to answer at the end of the series.

With World Cup only days away, Pakistan needs to fire and fire quickly to boost not just their own morale, but that of the entire nation as well.

Match Details

Venue: Trent Bridge, Nottingham

Time: 5:00 pm PST

Playing XI

Pakistan

Abid Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Sarfaraz Ahmed (capt/wk), Mohammad Hafeez, Asif Ali, Mohammad Hasnain, Hasan Ali, Shaheen Afridi, Junaid Khan.

Pakistan will field plenty of changes as Abid Ali, Mohammad Hasnain, and Mohammad Hafeez are expected to slot into the XI. It remains to be seen whether Shoaib Malik plays in place of Asif Ali or someone else sits out to accommodate the senior player.

England

Jason Roy, James Vince, Joe Root, Jos Buttler (capt, wk), Ben Stokes, Joe Denly, Adil Rashid, Moeen Ali, Tom Curran, Jofra Archer, Mark Wood.

For England, the biggest setback is the suspension of their regular captain, Eoin Morgan due to slow over-rate in the previous match.

England would be eyeing yet another comprehensive victory over fragile visitors and it remains to be seen how Pakistani bowlers take on the challenge of restricting English batters.
