Following the reports of Amir making a comeback to the Pakistan squad for World Cup, the fast bowler is set to undergo a medical tes today which will determine his fitness and availability for the mega event.
The 27-year-old got himself examined in London two days ago following a suspected case of chickenpox.
The pacer will miss today’s match against England, however, if he is fit, he will most likely feature the 5th ODI.
In the meantime, the cricket fans are awaiting the official confirmation from PCB for his inclusion the 15-man squad. Earlier, Amir was not included in the list, however, his selection was left to his form in the ongoing series against England.
Unfortunately for him, he hasn’t bowled in any of the games, leaving the team management in a bit of a conundrum.
Pakistan’s poor bowling display, mainly Faheem Ashraf, in the series against England has brought him into contention yet again for the World Cup.
