Vivo is setting up to expand its Y-series in India by launching two new smartphones under the moniker Y12 and Y15.
Both smartphones haven’t been launched yet and we don’t have a release date but one of Vivo’s E-stores, DealnTech, had listed Vivo Y15 revealing its specifications. The post has been removed now, but we have a pretty good idea what Vivo has up its sleeve this time.
By the looks of it, Vivo Y15 looks very similar to Vivo Y17, except it comes with a different processor and 64 gigs of built-in memory.

Design and Display
The renders posted on the E-store show that Vivo has followed the typical waterdrop notch trend with its new Y-series smartphone. The phone features a waterdrop notch display with small top and bottom bezels. The back features a generic finish with a gradient design. The triple sensor camera is vertically arranged on top of a dual LED flash at the back, sitting beside the fingerprint sensor.
Display wise, the phone features a 6.35-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 720 x 1544 resolution. Vivo Y15 will come in Aqua Blue and Burgundy Red colors.
Internal and Storage
The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 processor with 64 gigs of built-in memory along with 4GB RAM. It only has one RAM/storage variant and comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, MicroUSB, single band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and FM Radio.
The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Funtouch OS 9.
Cameras
Vivo Y15 features a triple sensor rear camera with a 13 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor with 120 degrees field of view and a 2 MP depth sensor. The front camera is a single 13 MP snapper.
The camera comes with a number of features including portrait mode, beauty mode, pro mode, and palm capture.
Battery and Pricing
One of the biggest selling points of Vivo Y15 is its massive 5,000 mAh battery that comes with intelligent power saving technologies.
