When is the last time you heard about the Essential Phone? It’s been quite a while, almost a year.
For those who don’t know, Essential is an American tech company that has been valued as a unicorn (or a private startup valued over $1 billion). The company has halted its sales and operations for a long time and hasn’t released any other phone after the Essential Phone.
However, it looks like the company is going back into action. Essential’s Co-founder Andy Rubin was going through a rough patch in his personal life, which is most probably the reason behind the company’s disappearance.

He has recently resurfaced by replying to a nine-month-old tweet, weird right? Anyhow, the Founder and CEO of Essential has hinted that they are going to make an announcement soon and the people should hang tight.

Unfortunately, that is all we know right now. We have no clue what course of action Andy is going to follow with the upcoming ‘announcement’ however if we look at the history, Andy teased the first essential phone on Recode Code Conference back in 2017. The same conference is currently going on; hence, we might be in for a surprise. Fingers crossed.
