Vivo Launches Z1 Pro With Punch-Hole Display and 5,000 mAh Battery

Vivo, India’s fastest growing Smartphone brand according to the company’s head of marketing Nipun Marya, recently launched Vivo Z1 Pro.

At the launch, previous innovations like the pop-up selfie camera, in-display fingerprint sensor, and 120W fast charging were recapped. According to Vivo, the Z1 is keeping the trend alive by being the first Indian smartphone to feature a Snapdragon 712 SoC.

The Vivo Z series is targeted at the generation Z users and has been developed keeping these consumers in mind.

Design and Display

Unsurprisingly, Vivo Z1 sports a generic design with a glossy finish and gradient colors. The triple sensor rear camera is vertically aligned on the top left, next to the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

On the front, the 6.53-inch IPS LCD display features a large punch hole on the top left. The 1080p display sports an 83.4 percent screen to body ratio and a 395 ppi pixel density. The smartphone will be available in three colors: Sonic Black, Sonic Blue, and Mirror Black.

Internal and Storage

Towards the innards, the Z1 is powered by a Snapdragon 712 SoC in combination with 4 or 6 GB RAM and 64 or 128 gigs of built-in storage. Since the phone targets Generation Z and its gaming obsession, Vivo has thrown in a Cooling and Game turbo mode.

The phone comes with an ultra-gaming mode which improves the surround sound as well as the haptic feedback. For games like PUBG, this smartphone comes with a voice changer function and sound localization training center.

The phone runs on Funtouch 9 flavored Android 9.0 Pie.

At the back, it has a basic triple sensor rear camera with a 16 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor.

Vivo has used an impressive 32 MP selfie camera housed in the punch hole at the top left of the display.

Battery and Pricing

For a better and longer gaming experience, the phone comes with a hefty 5,000 mAh battery that is backed by 18W fast charging. It also has a reverse charging option, which means it acts like a power bank when needed. By the way, here is the link to the latest and updated Vivo Mobiles Price in Pakistan.

The basic 4GB/64GB variant is available at $217 while the slightly beefed up 6GB/128GB model comes in at $261.
