Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the Railways Minister to improve the decades-old infrastructure of railways to prevent train accidents.
The orders have come in the face of a fatal train accident between a passenger train and a goods train in Sadiqabad. The accident has claimed 15 lives and left 58 people injured.
The PM took to Twitter to express his condolences to the bereaved families of the victims. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of people injured in the accident.

Minister for Railways, Sheikh Rasheed, also expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of lives in the accident. He has also ordered an investigation into the accident.
