A Chinese Company is Launching its Ride Hailing App in Pakistan

A Chinese firm is set to introduce its online taxi service in Pakistan, eyeing potential in the transport market in the country. They’ll launch their new Buraq ride-hailing service on 10th August in six major cities of Pakistan.

This will bring them in direct competition with the other two major ride-hailing services already operating in the market.

Timesaco, the organization introducing the Buraq Taxi Service, has formulated a wide-ranging policy to entice users towards its new service to help make it competitive since Careem and Uber are already functional in the market.

Donald Li, Chief Operating Officer (CEO) Timesaco, said that in the start the service would be offering a 10% discount on rides to educational institutions, medical centers and marriage halls.

He added that professionals including teachers, army personnel and students would be given special discounts. The customers can download the application from Google Play Store for instant services. The app can be found here.
