In September this year, the iconic Nokia 2720 will be 10 years old, which according to many analysts is the best time to revive the feature phone since HMD global is already considering it. HMD global has been re-introducing some of the iconic Nokia phones after adding modern features as it did with the Nokia 3310.
From the looks of it, we are soon to get a 4G variant of the Nokia 2270 next month. According to NokiaPowerUser China’s communication agency recently certified Nokia TA-1170 which might be the 4G variant of the model under discussion. The same phone was also certified in Thailand earlier, revealing that it was a feature phone rather than a smartphone.
The company has also confirmed that it will be attending the IFA 2019 and has an event planned on the 5th of September. All clues hint at the unveiling of a newer version of the iconic Nokia 2720.
As far as the 10 years old Nokia 2720 is concerned, it featured a 1.8 inches display with a 120p color display, 1.3 MP camera, Bluetooth 2.0 and 860 mAh battery. The phone also came in a monochrome variant with 1.36 inches with 128 x 160 pixels resolution.
