Xiaomi’s big launch event was held on Tuesday, and a variety of new products ranging from flagship smartphones to earbuds were revealed. One of these new products was a new version of the Mi Power Bank 3 and it is the company’s most powerful power bank to date.
Since it is essentially an updated version of the Mi Power Bank 3, it shares a lot of similarities and features with its predecessor. The biggest change in this version is that it now has support for 50W fast charging, also known as super flash charging. It has a total capacity of 20,000 mAh and is slightly bulkier than before, with dimensions of 153.5×73.5×27.5mm.
Just as before, the power bank can charge a variety of smart devices with its two way 50W fast charge, using 2 USB A ports and 1 USB C port. The device can be charged up completely in just 4.5 hours with the help of a 45W charger. A regular 5V/2A charger will charge the device in 11 hours.
It also supports low power charging, which is perfect for charging wearables and other smaller devices.
There’s no word on when the 50W Mi Power Bank 3 will go on sale, but once it does, it will be available for only $42.
