Xiaomi’s sub-brand Pocophone rapidly gained popularity as soon as it launched its first phone, the Pocophone F1. The phone offered incredible value for money with high-end specifications with an affordable price tag, just as Xiaomi devices always do.
Ever since the release of the Pocophone F1, we haven’t heard anything official about a successor. However, a recently shared post on Twitter may have teased when the much-awaited Pocophone F2 might arrive.
Manu Kumar Jain, the head of Xiaomi India shared a photo of him having a discussion with Redmi India’s Executive, Sneha Tainwala.

Behind the two executives, there is a whiteboard showing a launch date timeline for different Xiaomi products. If you take a closer look, you can see that the Xiaomi Mi Pad is scheduled for May-June, and Poco F2 is written under the final quarter of the year with a question mark.
However, this info must be taken with caution as the Mi Pad hasn’t launched in India yet which can either mean that the timeline on the whiteboard is outdated or that it is meant for 2020.
Now, of course, nothing is certain just yet and only time will tell whether Xiaomi has any intentions of releasing the Poco F2 this year or not. However, since the teaser just showed up days ahead of this year’s final quarter, we might hear more on the Poco F2 very soon.
