In shocking news, Pak Suzuki has suddenly increased the price of its newly launched Alto by Rs. 85,000, which will come into effect from 1st October.
Pakistan’s auto industry is currently going through its worst patch as the demands have hit a new low, which has led to production plants being closed for the month.
Pak Suzuki circulated a notification on 30th September and informed the dealerships regarding the price hike. Many remain puzzled by the company’s decision to increase the price as there has been a shift in dollar price either.
The new prices of 660cc Alto are as following:

It is worth mentioning that Pak Suzuki recently increased the price of Alto and demanded an additional Rs. 23,000 from all the customers who had pre-booked the vehicle.
Following that, the vehicle was being sold for Rs. 1,325,000 for the pre-booked customers and the latest price hike has now taken the price of the same Alto AGS to Rs. 1,518,000.

The things government institutions like PAMA and PAPAMA should also get closed and fire their employees as they aren’t able to make proper policy and audit system for these comapany.
As automotive co. Are jacking up their price just because their is change in dollar rates. They should specify which partsthey are import and which are locally manufactured.
They way companies are increasing prices they should give latest models.
Also are they also pay their employees in dollar as dollar has thire should also be increased.

Selected Government can’t stop monopoly of big three companies like Toyota, Suzuki and Honda because Government is also unstable due to his policies, it is big loss of people of Pakistan, there is no polacy makers who stop the violation.
It’s better not to purchase this car as it’s specifications are not matching to the unusal price.
Serious shortfalls in new Pak Alto inspite of high prices
1) no spare tyre
2) no fog lights (especially for Punjab, federal, murder and KPK area)
3) backlight set at back are too low and in line with bike tyres. So there is more chance and probability that the bike would hits/coincides with lights and damage them.
4) no back screen wiper
