Islamabad Airport Gets a Separate Counter for Women

On the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has established a separate counter for women at the New Islamabad International Airport.

The move aims to facilitate women exclusively and help them avoid standing in long queues for hours.

As per airport administration, the counter will help female passengers, traveling alone on domestic or international routes, go through the screening process separately.

The decision was taken because pregnant and old-aged women had to face difficulties at security counters. The newly introduced counters will help them get through the process quickly.

This move has received a lot of appreciation on social media, and people are calling for similar facilities at other airports as well.

CAA officials have confirmed that they are planning to set up exclusive counters for women on other airports on public demand.

  • This is very good decision for old women and also pregnant ladies, cuz some womens don’t feel comfortable with other passengers, so it’s very good?
