Here’s a Look at Samsung’s Upcoming Foldable Smartphone

The next Galaxy Fold, now known as the Galaxy Z Flip, is arriving next month alongside the Galaxy S20 series. A set of live images have previously leaked for the phone, but they only show a vague image of what to expect.

However, folks over at LetsGoDigital have produced some mockup renders that give us a really good idea of what the new Samsung device might look like.

The phone will feature UTG (Ultra-Thin Glass) on a 6.7-inch screen that will have a centered punch hole camera at the top.

The Galaxy Z Flip’s hinge mechanism is strikingly similar to its predecessor and is hopefully just as sturdy as well. The power button is on the lower half while the volume rocker is placed above the hinge. There is a small secondary display on the back next to the dual primary camera sensor. It displays the time, date, and battery percentage.

Rumor has it that the phone will feature the Snapdragon 855 SoC and a dual battery setup with super fast charging. One of the batteries will have 900 mAh capacity.

The resolution on the primary camera is currently unknown, but the front-facing camera is expected to be a 10-megapixel sensor.

The Galaxy Z Flip will reportedly arrive at Samsung’s Unpacked event on February 11.
