Xiaomi Mi 10’s Hands-On Images Reveal Curved Display & 108 MP Camera

Xiaomi’s Mi 10 duo has shaped up to be one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2020. The smartphones, like almost every Xiaomi flagship, have been backed by a number of leaks and rumors. The most recent leak consists of hands-on images of this upcoming Mi 10 Pro 5G, revealing some interesting details.

First thing’s first, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G will ship with a top of the line 108 MP camera. Currently, very few smartphones are expected to boast such a high-resolution sensor, Samsung’s upcoming S20 is one of those. This 108 MP imaging sensor will be joined by three more sensors, which will probably be an ultra-wide sensor, a ToF sensor, and a depth sensor.

The images are not very clear, but we can make out that the Mi 10 Pro 5G is built around an AMOLED display with a punch hole. The fingerprint sensor will be housed under the display that curves towards the sides similar to a waterfall display. The images show that the device carries the ‘M2001J1C’ model number. The same phone appeared on TENAA recently revealing a 3C with a 66W charger.

Other leaked images show the power button and volume rocker on the right side. A USB Type-C port at the bottom, along with a microphone and an external speaker.

Rumored Specifications

As far as other specifications are concerned, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G is expected to come with a 120 Hz display, Snapdragon 865 SoC, latest Wi-Fi 6 technology, 4,500mAh battery and support for wireless charging.

The launch date has not been unveiled, but based on rumors, Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the smartphone on valentine’s day (14 February).
