4 Out of 5 Pakistani Students Infected With Coronovirus Have Fully Recovered: Zafar Mirza

Four of the five Pakistani students that had caught the coronavirus in China are now fully recovered and have been discharged from the hospital.

The Assistant to Prime Minister on Health, Dr. Zafar Mirza, announced this in a Twitter post.

I am pleased to confirm that Alhamdolilah, our four students have now fully recovered from coronavirus and today they have been discharged from the hospital.

He mentioned that 98 percent of all coronavirus patients fully recover.

One of the Twitter users disagreed with the figures presented, saying that only 82 percent of the patients infected have been recovered and discharged.

The situation has changed today altogether…. the count goes up after authorities changed the testing method, also since yesterday the daily death toll has doubled.

He supported his argument with a screenshot from an official website

Meanwhile, the students stuck in China continue to demand the government to evacuate them as soon as possible.

Islamabad High Court (IHC) has also directed the government to review its decision of not evacuating citizens from China as the death toll from the novel virus is rising every day.
