A group of Chinese doctors with firsthand experience in the fight against COVID-19 is in Pakistan to help build the country’s capacity to tackle the pandemic.
On Sunday, the Chinese doctors called on Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar and other high-ups to discuss a wide range of issues pertaining to Coronavirus.
The Chinese health experts underscored the importance of social distancing and lockdown to fight the pandemic.
Social distancing is the key to stop the spread of the virus and the Punjab government should ensure a continuous lockdown for 28 days.

Regarding passive immunization to treat critically ill patients, the Chinese team said the technique proved helpful in Wuhan in saving numerous lives.
Following the meeting with the team, CM Buzdar said:
China is a trusted friend of Pakistan and its handling of the COVID-19 pandemic is exemplary. Punjab government will follow the recommendations of Chinese doctors to curb the spread of Coronavirus in the province.
