Infinix is catching up with modern smartphone design trends by the day. Earlier we saw the Infinix S5 Pro debut with a full-screen display and now the Infinix Note 7 lineup has been announced with a rectangular camera module and cornered punch-hole cutout.
Pricing and availability for the Note 7 and the Note 7 Lite have not been announced yet but the two devices are likely going to focus on high value for money like the rest of the brand’s smartphones.
Design and Display
The Infinix Note 7 has a large 6.95-inch IPS LCD that features HD+ resolution, a tall 20.5:9 aspect ratio, and 580 nits maximum brightness. There is a punch-hole cutout in the top left corner for the selfie camera.
The Note 7 Lite has a slightly smaller 6.6-inch LCD with HD+ resolution as well and the same design as the Note 7. However, the main design difference between the two phones lies at the back. The Infinix Note 7 has a circular quad-camera setup whereas the Note 7 Lite has a rectangular camera module similar to the Huawei P40.
Internals and Storage
The Infinix Note 7 features the gaming-oriented Helio G70 SoC with 6GB RAM, whereas the Note 7 Lite is powered by the slightly toned down Helio P22 SoC with 4GB RAM.
Both devices come with 128GB of internal storage which is expandable with a micro SD card.
Cameras
Both phones have the same quad-camera setup at the rear arranged in different layouts. The setup consists of a 48MP main camera with a 2MP depth sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and an additional lens for low light photography. There is a super steady video mode and night mode on both as well.
The front-facing camera on the Note 7 is a 16MP shooter while the Note 7 Lite has an 8MP lens.
Battery and Pricing
A massive 5,000 mAh battery is present in both smartphones, but only the standard Note 7 comes with 18W fast charging.
As mentioned before, pricing and availability for the Infinix Note 7 lineup have not been revealed yet.
