Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on the directives of Chief Air Staff (CAS), Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, has flown in Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) pilots from Karachi to Islamabad in its C-130 transport plane.
These pilots were crucial for a complete restoration of PIA’s special flight operations aimed at bringing back Pakistanis stranded abroad.

Since all flight operations from the Karachi airport have been halted, PIA CEO, Arshad Malik, had to request PAF to help transport the pilots. These pilots volunteered for the ongoing flight operation on humanitarian grounds despite the pressure from the pilots association.
CEO Arshad Malik thanked Chief of the Air Staff, PAF officers and staff for always stepping up in the time of need. He said that these pilots were critical for resuming flights to bring back countrymen stuck abroad.

As long as such PIA has such dedicated volunteers, the airline will never desert its people abroad and will do everything to serve this great nation, he said.

Thanks to those pilots, PIA has managed to break the monopoly of the pilots association (PALPA) and resume special flights for the UK, Canada, UAE, Iraq, Turkey and other parts of the world where Pakistani expatriates are waiting to return to the country.

My parents are stuck in UAE due to the flight suspension. Here in UAE thousands of stranded people whom are waiting for the resuming of flights.
My mother is stuck in Pakistan. Her flight coming back to Canada got cancelled 3 times already.

Since we are waiting for flight operation to be resumed, and here it is mentioned the stranded people of UAE will bring back, but there is no announcement from any airline in this regards. Please clarify if there is any date and time for the special flights?
I request all the countries permission there own airline bring there citizen back home like British airline , Qatar airline , PIA , Saudia airline , air canada , Turkish airline

I am stuck in Abu dhabi, embassy officials are not responding on given phones, my employer terminated the contract and now living in camp without pay and waiting for the uplifting of travel ban. Kindly do the needul arrangements for all of us who are stuck in uae or else.
Please stop malicious reporting.After signing of document between PALPA ,PIA AND AVIATION SECRETARY. Normal operations has been resumed.I myself being Palpa pilot brought 324 british pakistani to manchester.

Tell the real reason to public why pilots are brought in c130 because chief minister has closed the jinnah airport because he was not satisfied by pia and caa arrangements.
