HEC Recognizes University of Chitral’s Journal

The University of Chitral’s semiannual research journal called “Journal of Religious Studies” has been accredited by the Higher Education Commission in the “Y Category”.

The University issued a press release on Wednesday stating that the journal had been officially accredited by the HEC after it met the necessary criteria for HEC’s recognition in the Y category.

The press statement added that to help the researchers, they had set up nine journals in multiple fields that were available both online as well as printed form.

It further went on to say that for now only the University of Journal of Religious Studies has been accredited by the Higher Commission and the process to have the rest recognized as well is in process. To date, there have been five published editions of the Journal.
