Earlier rumors had indicated that Xiaomi is working on Mi Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Earphones but a new report from Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station claims that those will not be the only active noise-canceling earphones coming from Xiaomi.

The report shows a recent certification from the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) for a pair of earbuds called Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Pro. According to the tipster, these TWS earphones will have support for wireless charging and active noise cancellation. The model number for these earphones is TWSEJ09WM.
The certification page also includes an image of the earphones, giving us an early look. The buds feature a closed-ear design with silicone tips and an infrared sensor can be seen as well for wear detection. The case has an LED indicator on the front that should light up when its placed on a wireless charger or plugged into a wired charger. The touch control panel is flat on the back.
A black colored variant will be welcomed by many as the previous model only included a white version. There is no word on a launch date yet, but we are expecting an official announcement next month. The Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Pro will likely come with a different name in China.
