After unveiling the flagship Mi 10T lineup, Xiaomi is turning its attention towards the Redmi K30 series once again. Redmi’s General Manager posted a teaser on Weibo hinting at the Redmi K30S and the President of Xiaomi’s Mobile division responded to it as well.

According to a tipster, the K30S will go official on October 27 and sales will start soon after on November 1, though there is official no confirmation on these dates yet.
Digital Chat Station says that the Redmi K30S will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC and is expected to be cheaper than the K30 Ultra featuring the Dimensity 1000+. Some reports have even said that it will be a rebranded Mi 10T.

TENAA also posted a detailed spec sheet for the K30S a while ago, which further signifies that the device is indeed based on the Mi 10T. The Xiaomi Mi 10T launched in Europe a week ago but it does not exist in China yet so the speculation makes sense since the Redmi K series is typically aimed towards China only.
However, the Redmi K30S is expected to be much cheaper than the Mi 10T, though the exact pricing is yet to be revealed. More details are expected to show up in a week.
