ZTE Unveils Blade 20 Pro 5G With Snapdragon 765G And Quad Cameras

Just as it teased earlier, Chinese phone maker ZTE has unveiled its latest 5G handset, the Blade 20 Pro. It is a mid-range device that features an extremely thin chassis, a glass body, and the Snapdragon 765G chipset.

Design and Display

The display is a 6.47-inch AMOLED panel that is curved on the sides and has FHD+ resolution. It has a U shaped notch on the top, extremely small surrounding bezels, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

At the back, there is a rectangular primary camera setup featuring four lenses and an LED flash at the bottom.

Internals and Storage

As mentioned earlier, the Blade 20 Pro features the Snapdragon 765G SoC that brings 5G support for cheap. It is paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage which is expandable through a microSD card. The storage type has not been mentioned, but it is likely to be UFS instead of eMMC.

The device boots ZTE’s MiFavor 10 interface on top of Android 10.

Cameras

The main camera on the back is a 64MP shooter that comes with an 8MP ultrawide lens and a pair of 2MP shooters for depth sensing and macro photography. This camera can record up to 4K videos at 30 FPS.

The front camera is a 20MP lens capable of 1080p video recording and HDR photos.

Battery and Pricing

The 4,000 mAh battery has support for 18W fast charging, meaning that it should be able to charge from 0 to 100% in around 90 minutes.

Pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
