Vivo has announced its latest mid-range 5G smartphone, the Vivo Y52s. The smartphone was majorly leaked in the past few weeks. However, it was announced rather quietly in the company’s local market.
Vivo Y52s comes with a two-toned ombre design on the back and has an iPhone-like squircle camera bump. The dual-sensor camera and the flashlight are arranged in a triangle formation.
The smartphone is built around a 6.58-inch LCD panel with FHD+ (1080p) resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate.
The 5G compatible smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 720 mobile platform topped with 6 GB or 8 GB RAM and 128 GB onboard storage.
It runs Funtouch 10.5 on top of Android 10.
The smartphone sports a dual-sensor rear camera system lead by a 48 MP main sensor with a 2MP depth-sensing lens. For selfies, it is equipped with an 8 MP shooter.
Vivo Y52s packs a 5000 mAh battery backed by 18W fast charging. It is currently available for sale in China, and the base variant retails at $245.
