Apple’s Upcoming 10.5” iPad 2021 Will Cost $299 [Leak]

The 8th gen iPad 2020 is currently one of the cheapest ones that launched alongside the iPad Air this year. The 10-inch tab is expected to get a successor in early 2021 and rumors suggest that it will carry an even cheaper price tag.

The current-gen iPad features the A12 Bionic chip, a 10.2-inch display, and has a starting price of $330. The 2021 version is expected to come with a faster chipset, a larger display, and a lower price tag as well.

According to a tipster, the new iPad will have a 10.5-inch screen, the A13 Bionic chipset, Touch ID integrated on the home button, and a thinner and lighter design compared to before. He expects the tablet to cost $300.

There is no word on memory configurations, but he does mention 4GB of RAM. The current generation iPad has 32GB and 128GB storage options, so we can expect the same from the iPad 2021, but with more storage options. Though the lower price tag suggests that the base model will have 32GB storage.

It is also expected to support the 2nd generation Apple Pencil, the Apple Smart Keyboard, and Xbox, PS4, and PS5 controllers. There may be an LTE model as well.

As mentioned earlier, the 10.5″ iPad 2021 is expected to launch early in 2021.
