Flight operations at the Jinnah International Airport, Karachi were disrupted due to foggy weather and other technical issues today.
A thick mist covered the areas adjacent to the airport signal to Malir Halt, and from Malir 15 to Quaidabad and Steel Town.

According to the Flight Inquiry, nine domestic and international flight failed to take off on time from the airport due to heavy fog on Monday morning.
As per details, Serene Air’s flight ER-540 to Quetta that was originally scheduled for 8 AM was delayed by five hours, and Serene Air’s Lahore-bound flight ER-502 left an hour late at 9 PM.

Similarly, Pakistan International Airline’s (PIA) flight PK-302 to Lahore was delayed by one hour and forty-five minutes.
Saudia’s flight to Jeddah SV-707 was delayed by one hour and thirty minutes, while Qatar Airlines’, Turkish Airlines’, and Airblue flights’ were also delayed by fifteen minutes each.
The Civil Aviation Department announced that the airports’ flight schedule had been disturbed by the fog.
