After plenty of rumors, leaks, and teasers Vivo’s X60 is up for pre-orders in China. Both smartphones of the series, i.e., Vivo X60 and X60 Pro, come with a similar spec sheet save the camera specifications and storage options.
Design and Display
The smartphones come with a Mi 10T-like design. They have a similar rectangular camera bump and a matte finish on the back.
In terms of display, the smartphones feature a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with 1080p resolution, HDR10+ support, 90.1% screen-to-body ratio, 398 PPI density, and 120 Hz refresh rate.
Internals and Storage
As for the innards, the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro are powered by the 5nm Exynos 1080 chipset. The Pro model is only available in one memory variant, i.e., 12 GB RAM and 256 GB onboard storage. The vanilla model, on the other hand, is available in two memory variants:
- 8 GB RAM and 128 GB onboard storage
- 8 GB RAM and 256 GB onboard storage
The toned-down X60 does not offer a 12 GB RAM variant.
The software front is handled by Android 11 under OriginOS 1.0.
Cameras
The Vivo X60 sports a triple sensor rear camera setup with a 48 MP f/1.5 camera accompanied by a pair of 13 MP imaging sensors as the telephoto lens and ultra-wide camera.
The maxed-out Vivo X60 Pro, on the other hand, features a quad-sensor rear camera system with a 48 MP f/1.5 camera Sony IMX598 sensor, a 13 MP 120-degree ultrawide unit, a 13 MP 2x 50mm telephoto lens, and an 8 MP f/3.4 5x periscope camera.
For selfies, both smartphones are equipped with a 32 MP sensor.
Battery and Pricing
Vivo X60 packs a 4300 mAh battery with 33W charging, while the X60 Pro offers a 4200 mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
The handsets are currently available for pre-order and will be up on sale by 8th January 2021. The Vivo X60 will retail for €430, and the Pro model will retail for €560.
