Honor has been teasing a new addition to its Smart Screen TV lineup for a while. Today, via a promotional image poster, the company has unveiled the latest iteration of its TV.
The newest addition to Honor’s X1 lineup is the 75-inch Smart Screen TV, which, according to the company, is “bigger”, “more beautiful” and “smarter.” Although details regarding the smart TV’s specifications have not been revealed yet, we can expect refreshed internals along with improvements to its display on top of the larger size.
Earlier this year, the company launched three variants within the Smart Screen X1 series. These included a 50-inch, a 55-inch, and a 65-inch variant. The 75-inch variant will be the largest in the lineup and would also be the most expensive one.
According to MyDrivers, the company is working on capturing the large-screen market. After the separation from Huawei, Honor has lost a large number of customers that were loyal to its former parent company. Hence, the smartphone maker has to create a standing in the market from the scratch.
Honor was recently acquired by Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co., Ltd. Its new administration claims that they are working on becoming the top electronics company in the industry. They even plan on surpassing Honor’s ex-parent company Huawei.
As far as the launch of the new X1 Smart TV is concerned, there is no official word regarding the matter. However, reservations have already begun on certain Chinese online retail websites so we can expect the launch to be within a few days.
