Karachi Should Expect Colder Weather For The Next 10 Days: PMD

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Karachi’s weather is getting colder and residents should expect chilly nights for the next 10 days.

A spokesperson for PMD said that the provincial capital is witnessing an intense cold wave at the moment as the city recorded a temperature of 7C on Monday.

He noted that the cold weather in Karachi will prevail till 15 January and mercury will drop down to six degrees during nights.

In December last year, Karachi recorded its lowest temperature in the past decade following which PMD predicted that a cold wave was set to enter the port city.

Meanwhile, Punjab and AJK experienced rainfall on Monday. The latest spell of rainfall started on Sunday and is expected to continue today as well. PMD has also predicted snowfall in KP and GB for today.
