The CM Punjab Champions Cricket League will get underway from August 3 to 9, with several national and international cricketers set to take part in the week-long tournament.
The event is being organized by Sports Punjab in collaboration with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Pakistan Railways Sports Board, and is expected to be one of Punjab’s biggest domestic cricket competitions.
Preparations for the tournament were reviewed during a meeting chaired by Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi at the National Hockey Stadium.
During the meeting, officials finalized operational arrangements for the event and reviewed progress on logistics, venues, and tournament management.
According to Sports Punjab, the competition will be played across four venues in Lahore:
- LCCA Ground
- Ashiana Cricket Stadium
- Railway Ground Garhi Shahu
- Gaddafi Stadium
DG Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi said preparations are progressing according to plan and expressed confidence that the tournament will be successfully organized.
The CM Punjab Champions Cricket League aims to provide competitive cricket for local players while also featuring well-known national and international stars ahead of the upcoming domestic season.
