HED is Hiring 300 Interns to Meet College Teacher Shortage in Punjab

The Higher Education Department (HED) of Punjab will appoint 300 College Teaching Interns (CTIs) across the province to supplement the lack of teaching staff at public sector colleges.

According to the details, the CTIs will be hired during the ongoing fiscal year for a period of four months at a monthly stipend of Rs. 45,000.

Although there is no age limit for the applicants, the minimum qualification required is MA/MSc (2nd Division).

The colleges will display the list of vacant positions on their notice boards tomorrow (Wednesday) and the interested candidates can submit their applications on 14 and 15 January.

The colleges will display the tentative merit lists on 17 January, and the final lists will be announced on 20 January.

Following this, the selected applicants will be interviewed from 21 to 23 January, and the names of the successful candidates will be displayed on 25 January.

The colleges will complete the grievance redress mechanism on 28 and 29 January and will display the final merit lists on 1 February.
