Apple iPad Mini 6 to Feature Much Smaller Bezels And Under-Screen Touch ID [Leak]

Apple has been refreshing the design of almost all of its products lately and the latest one tipped to get a revamp is the upcoming iPad Mini 6. The new iPad Mini will reportedly get rid of its previously giant bezels and get a punch-hole style camera.

Here is how it is expected to look like.

The image shows much smaller bezels than before, a punch-hole selfie camera, and a Touch ID fingerprint sensor near the bottom of the display. Bear in mind that the cutout for the fingerprint sensor is just for illustration purposes as it will be underneath the display on the retail unit.

Additionally, thanks to the punch-hole camera, the new iPad Mini appears to have even smaller bezels than the iPad Pro 2020. There is still only one camera at the back similar to the previous iPad Minis.

The rendered image also seems to go in line with analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s report from earlier that revealed a 9.1-inch display. This would make it bigger than all previous iPad Mini generations. It is also expected to feature Apple’s 5nm A14 Bionic chip which debuted with the iPhone 12.

There is no word on a launch date, but we expect to see an official announcement in March this year.
