Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) has invited applications for IsDB Scholarship Program 2021-2022.
Aspirants from member countries and Muslim communities in non-member countries can apply for the scholarship program before 28 February.

There are six scholarship programs offered by IsDB:
- Undergraduate
- Master’s
- Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral Research Programme
- IsDB-ISFD for Technical Vocational Education & Training (TVET) for Least Developed Member Countries (LDMCs)
- IsDB-ISFD Bachelor studies for LDMCs
- IsDB-The World Academy of Science (TWAS) Joint Program for Capacity Building and Technology Transfer
Offering scholarships since 1983, the bank aims to foster technology and knowledge sharing among its member countries and Muslim communities in non-member countries.

IsDB scholarship programs are part of the bank’s overall efforts to develop the human resources of its member countries and Muslim communities in non-member countries.
The scholarships revolve around the concept of Qard Hasan (benevolent loan), under which interest-free loans are given to outstanding and qualified students. Students are required to repay the loan after gaining employment following the completion of their educational degree. The repaid funds are used to provide scholarships to other students.
