US Announces Fully-Funded Exchange Program for Female Pakistani Students

The fully-funded Sister2Sister Summer Exchange Program 2021 has been announced for female Pakistani students to provide them an opportunity to attend prestigious American universities.

The program is funded by the United States (US) Department of State and managed by a consortium of partners is an initiative of the Society for International Education (SIE). It aims to develop future career opportunities for Pakistani women by offering them a mentorship program that will connect them to academic and professional networks for their educational and career-related growth.

The program that ranges between 12 to 50 days will cover full tuition fees, round-trip travel costs, health insurance, accommodation, visa fees, and free food facilities for the candidates.

All Pakistani female students between the ages of 18 and 24 who are either enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programs and have scored at least 70 percent marks over the last three academic years are eligible to apply.

The students who are in the last year of their degree program, dual US-Pakistani nationality holders, and those who have already availed of an exchange program in America, are ineligible to apply.

The last date to apply is 31 January 2021. Students can apply by filling the application available online on the official portal of the Sister2Sister Exchange Program.
