Yesterday, early details of Xiaomi’s Mi Band 6 appeared on the internet through leaked firmware spotted on the Zep App. This showed that there will be two different versions of the wearable, one with NFC, and one without it.
Today, more details have surfaced on the Mi Band 6, giving us a good idea of what to expect.
There will be a new time management feature called Pomodoro Technique, which will record the time spent on different activities and more through timers. App notifications will be blocked for 25 minutes and the watch will also vibrate to remind you to take a break after 25 minutes.
Currently, you can only view sleep data on the Mi Band app, but you will be able to keep track of it directly through the watch with the Mi Band 6. We already reported hints of a bigger display due to higher resolution watch faces. Some of the watch faces are shown below.
The Mi Band 6 will be able to control smart home devices such as Amazon Alexa, though bear in mind that this will be exclusive to some regions. The new wearable will also show notifications with emojis, which was revealed through 308 images spotted in the Resource Files.
The band will also be able to reject calls and send automatic replies such as “I am currently driving, please contact me later.”
