Federal Govt Announces Dates for Matric And Inter Exams in 2021

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced to hold the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) examinations in May and June, respectively.

As per the announcement, the annual examinations for students under the Federal Board would commence from 20th May 2021, for SSC students, and from 10th June 2021, for HSSC students.

A notification in this regard was issued late on Monday that said:

It is hereby notified for information and necessary action of all concerned that SSC Annual Examination 2021 shall commence from Thursday, 20th May 2021, and HSSC Annual Examination 2021 shall commence from Thursday, 10th June 2021.

No Practical Exams This Year

The notification further noted that the practical examinations would not be conducted at SSC and HSSC level this year, and the marks will be assigned as per the promotion policy 2020.

Last month, Punjab and Sindh governments had announced conducting board exams in May-June, and July-August, respectively.
