Samsung Announces Date to Unveil New TVs With Cutting-Edge Tech

Although Samsung has already unveiled its 2021 TV lineup that includes Neo QLED and microLED options, the company still has a few devices under wraps that it will reveal on 2nd March.

According to a recent announcement by the company, it is set to host a virtual Unbox & Discover 2021 event on the said date.

At the event,

Samsung will share its vision for how the company’s latest innovative products are set to redefine the role of the TV through cutting-edge technologies, beautiful design, and impactful partnerships.

Despite the consumers’ recent liking towards the microLED TVs, Samsung will reportedly introduce QD-OLED TVs at the event.

These TVs will most likely make their way to the market by the start of 2022. Some recent reports on the topic claim that the devices combine pure colors of quantum dots with the advantages of self-emissive OLED panels which will revolutionize the way TVs operate.

Furthermore, through this new tech, the company plans on improving the accessibility of its TVs. It will add features like sign language zoom, better display of closed captions, and more.

In the video, you can see the happy cardboard box. It is not a mistake, rather hints at the Samsung Upcycling program. Samsung TV boxes have been designed such that they can be repurposed into furniture.
