EUTA Rejects Govt’s Decision to Cut University Faculty’s Salaries

The Engineering University Teachers Association (EUTA) on Tuesday rejected the letter from the Higher Education Department (HED) to different universities directing them to reduce salaries and allowances of the teaching faculty.

According to a press statement issued by EUTA, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) must withdraw this decision immediately because the universities across the province are already heavily burdened with financial issues but the provincial government has failed to heed the situation.
