The Sindh High Court (SHC) has reserved its judgment on the bail plea of the accused in the State Bank Housing Society scam that was uncovered by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
The investigating officer of the NAB made a huge revelation in the court, declaring that the housing society has nothing to do with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The officer said that the accused had seized 125 acres of land through forgery and had swindled more than Rs. 370 million from citizens.
Consequently, the SHC has reserved its verdict on the bail application of the accused.
The NAB is investigating Secretary Abdullah Alvi, Nazir Hussain Mukhtiar Kar, Nasr Faizan Siddiqui, Syed Amir, Abdul Haq, Muhammad Khurram Alvi, Roshan Ara Hussain, Ghulam Haider Chandio, Usman Ibrahim, and Hussain Ali Hakro among others involved in the case.
