The district administration of Peshawar has enforced micro smart lockdown to curb the resurgence of Coronavirus in different areas of the city.
According to details, street number 2 of Hayatabad phase 4 and street number 10 of Hayatabad phase 7 were placed under micro smart lockdown at 6 pm on Sunday.

Street number 4 at Shami Road and street number 5 of Muslimabad were also placed under the micro smart lockdown.
Residents of these areas will not be allowed to leave their homes unless absolutely necessary and heavy fines will be imposed on people for not wearing face masks.
All essential businesses including food and medicine in these areas will be exempted from the lockdown restrictions but will be required to operate till 7 pm.

While no public gatherings will be allowed, congregational prayers in mosques in these areas will be limited to only five persons.
On Sunday, KP reported 5 deaths and 193 new Coronavirus cases. Overall, KP has recorded 2,113 deaths and 74,027 cases of COVID-19 since the start of the outbreak in the province.
