MediQ Smart Health, Pakistan’s first Virtual Hospital, proudly partners with IGI Insurance to provide quality digital healthcare services through MediQ’s app for all Policy Holders of IGI. MediQ’s Smart Healthcare App (iOS and Android) provides aggregation of all healthcare services into a single touchpoint which can be availed on click of a button.
Now IGI Policy Holders – including IGI General Conventional Policyholders, IGI General Takaful Policyholders, IGI Life Conventional Policyholders, and IGI Life Takaful Policyholders – will have access to Holistic “Doctor on Call” services of MediQ that provides telemedicine services through its extensive pool of real doctors including General Practitioners and Specialists working in different hospitals with updated medical knowledge.
It also offers e-prescription with a number of PMDC-listed doctors, medicine delivery at the doorstep after the teleconsultation, home lab sample collection, and electronic medical record providing a 360-degree holistic telemedicine service.
Additionally, the IGI Policy Holders will have access to Hospital@Home services of MediQ which includes physical visits of doctors and specialists to patients’ homes, nursing services, geriatric care, imaging services, lab & pharmacy services, preventative care, and rehabilitative services.
The partnership was announced in an MoU Signing Ceremony recently held in Lahore between the managements of the two companies. The MOU was signed by Dr. Saira Siddique – CEO MediQ Smart Healthcare and Dr. Fawad Sarwar, General Manager IGI.
Both parties reiterated their commitment to the use of technology to support and facilitate the customers and make their healthcare journey seamless. This is also crucial to mirror the growing global trend of the usage of technology-based health services and IGI Insurance has always remained a trendsetter.
