The privately-owned Pakistani airline SereneAir successfully began international flight operations today after its first international flight that had been scheduled for Tuesday (yesterday) was canceled due to a technical fault.
An earlier tweet by Serene Air read:
“We regret to inform you that flight ER-703 scheduled to take off on March 16 to Sharjah from Islamabad has been canceled due to operational reasons.”

The same flight (ER-703) finally departed today (Wednesday) at 1:55 PM, following which SereneAir announced via another social media post that its first international flight from Islamabad to Sharjah had landed safely. It also thanked its passengers for helping it to achieve this milestone.

SereneAir was granted permission by the Civil Aviation Authority to operate international flights following the approval of the federal Cabinet for the same.
