Lenovo Legion 2 Pro Gaming Phone Launches on April 8

The market for gaming phones is starting to heat up once again. Over the past few weeks, we have seen a variety of new gaming phones launch including the Nubia Red Magic 6, Asus ROG Phone 5, Black Shark 4, and now it’s time for Lenovo to join the fray.

The Chinese brand has just confirmed that it’s launching its latest gaming phone, the Legion 2 Pro on April 8.

The news comes from Lenovo’s official Weibo page where it shared a teaser poster saying “a hero that comes out to solve problems others can’t”. We can only hope that the upcoming gaming phone will bring a unique feature never seen before. This would not come as a surprise as the original Lenovo Legion phone also brings a unique camera design to make simultaneous streaming and gaming much easier.

According to a previous teaser, the next Legion gaming phone may have a dual-turbo cooling system with two physical fans in the device, which would be a first for gaming phones.

We are also expecting to see up to 16GB RAM, Snapdragon 888, and up to 110W super-fast charging with two USB C ports. It will likely have a standout design once again, but there is not much information on that just yet.
