Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, the top-tier member of the Mi 11 series, became official earlier this week. It is a direct successor to the Mi 10 Ultra and thus brings unique features of its own, like the tiny secondary display on the back. We now get to see it all from the inside thanks to a teardown video.
The teardown video comes from a Chinese YouTube channel so you will need to turn on captions if you don’t understand what’s going on. The automatic translation is not the best, but it gets the job done.
Straight away, we get out first look at the massive camera bump on the back as soon as the rear panel comes off. This setup includes huge cutouts for the lenses, a small secondary screen, and a variety of sensors. This module is so massive that it left no space to fit in a front camera for the phone, but that is where the second screen comes in.
We get a good look at the massive heat dissipation sheet above the battery compartment as well and all the housings underneath.
Further, the YouTuber also compares the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra with the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the Huawei P40 Pro+, and even the iPhone 12 Pro max. It is also compared to last year’s Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, so we recommend checking out the video for details.
