Sindh government has issued Coronavirus SOPs for mosques and imambargahs across the province for the holy month of Ramadan.
According to the official notification, administrations of mosques will be required for ensuring social distancing and facemask-wearing among attendants of congregational prayers.

Here are the detailed COVID-19 SOPs devised by the Home Department Sindh for congregational prayers during Ramadan:
- Six-foot distance must be maintained
- Facemasks wearing must be ensured at all times
- Carpets to be removed and people to pray on the floor
- People to be allowed to bring their own prayer mats
- Children and citizens aged 50 years or above are advised to pray at homes
- Citizens suffering from flu, fever, and cough will not be allowed entry
- Hugs and handshakes before or after congregational prayers will not be allowed
- Sehri and Iftari meals will not be arranged at mosques/imambargahs
