Prime Minister Imran Khan has vowed to provide maximum relief to the public in the upcoming federal budget 2021-22.
While chairing a meeting of the federal cabinet, the premier asked his economic team to focus on measures to control inflation while formulating the next budget.

PM Imran also directed the team to keep in view the needs of the public and introduce development projects accordingly.
He also sought suggestions regarding the upcoming budget from the senior leadership of the party, adding that the next budget will be development-oriented and will prioritize the improvement of the growth ratio.

Besides, the cabinet meeting deliberated over the prevailing economic situation in the country and measures to curb inflation.
Meanwhile, reliable sources have claimed the federal government is planning to table the fiscal budget 2021-22 in the National Assembly during the first week of June.
