The BBK-owned Oppo held a big launch event yesterday, where, along with other gadgets, it introduced the Oppo Smart TV K9 Series featuring LED-backlit (DLED) LCD panel, a metallic frame, and ColorOS TV 2.0.
Design and Display
The series consists of three smart TVs with 43-inch, 53-inch, and 65-inch displays. All variants sport the LED-backlit (DLED) LCD panel encased in a metallic frame.
The smaller 43-inch model offers 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution with a 60 Hz refresh rate, 230 nits typical brightness level, and low blue light mode.
The 55-inch and 65-inch variants, on the other hand, feature 4K resolution, with a 60Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion colors, 93% DCI-P3 color gamut, ΔE<2 color accuracy, 300 nits typical brightness level, and low blue light mode.
All three models also come with support for HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG.
Internals and Storage
As for innards, the 43-inch and 55-inch versions come with the MediaTek MT9632 SoC consisting of 4 x ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores and ARM Mali-G52 MC1 GPU at the helm. Meanwhile, the maxed-out 65-inch variant is powered by the MediaTek MT9652 chipset constructed using 4 x ARM Cortex-A73 CPU cores and ARM Mali-G52 MC1 GPU.
All three models run ColorOS TV 2.0 and feature 2 GB RAM. In terms of onboard storage, the 43-inch model offers 8 GB memory while the other two provide 16 GB of storage. The TVs also come with support for dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0.
For connectivity, all the TVs offer 1 x DTMB, 1 x digital audio port (coaxial), 2 x USB 2.0, and 1 x LAN (Ethernet) port. In addition to this, the 55-inch and 65-inch versions also have an AV port. The 43-inch and 55-inch variants sport 3 x HDMI 2.0. However, the 65-inch version comes with 3 x HDMI 2.1.
Other Features
The TVs ship with NFC-enabled remote control which allows you to interact with the device using Xiaobu AI assistant. You can also share content with the TV using your Oppo smartphone.
Furthermore, the 55-inch and 65-inch models also come with far-field microphones. The TVs have 2 x 15W (30W) speakers. In comparison to this, the 43-inch variant comes with 2 x 10W (20W) speakers. All TVs support Dolby Audio.

The TVs will be available for sale in China by 11th May at the following price tags:
